Medieval Global Temperature Optimum
This climate period was around about the 950 AD to 1300 AD, which was during around the Middle Ages. It was at the North Atlantic region. In addition, it was hypothesis that the during Medieval Global Temperature Optimum was there climatic intervals that where there warm conditions that prevailed throughout parts of the world. Many researcher found many evidence of the Medieval Global Temperature Optimum by studying the large temperature excursions at Chesapeake Bay, in Maryland and Virginia, during that time period.
Little Ice Age
This climate period was after the Medieval Global Temperature Optimum. The period was approximately started at the mid 14th century and ended at the 19th century. The Little Ice Age mostly effected the Northern Hemisphere, where it during the middle, 1600-1700, of the Little Ice Age there was low solar activity which was called Maunder Minimum.
